Either up high in the mountains or deep below the ocean waves, Sandi is an avid hiker, diver and surfer. As a Black woman, she is passionate about bringing more representation to the outdoors by documenting her adventures. At the age of 18, Sandi moved across the world from her home country of Kenya to the US to study engineering. Along the way, she picked up a camera and life took on a whole new meaning.
Sandi is an experienced solo traveler who loves to immerse herself in new cultures and meet people from all walks of life. Having been to 30+ countries and 6/7 continents, Sandi wants to inspire others to stay curious and hold on to that childlike joy so many people lose as they grow older.
From freediving with Hammerhead sharks in the Bahamas to dancing with the Bedouins of Wadi Rum to summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, Sandi’s content focuses on adventure travel and empowering others to step outside of their comfort zones and live life to the fullest.
